Quality management is the essence of project management in Aurovision. We encourage organization wide sharing of knowledge and best practices. We constantly benchmark ourselves against -the industry. We have institutionalized the quality process with quality systems and manuals being a vital component of every employee and every project team. This incorporates documentation of procedures, guidelines, templates, checklists and standards. This knowledge base is constantly revised and updated. This helps foster a high quality culture through the organization.
The primary components of our ongoing quality emphasis initiative are:
Standardization: Quality Bluebook defining standards of processes and documentation
Visualization: Use of visual modeling (CASE) tools to illustrate elements and relationships accurately.
Institutionalization: Sharing of knowledge and experiences
Improvisation: Continuous monitoring, tracking, revision and improvement
Acculturation: Foster quality culture via emphasis from senior management
At Aurovision, we ensure every piece of output delivered by us, a document, a line of code, a map, an image or an application, all adhere to defined standards. With SEI-CMM 4 compliant systems, Aurovision is currently in the process of obtaining certification.
