In September 2005, Red Herring will present the top 100 private companies in Asia in keeping with its editorial mission of covering the global technology business. The Asian market is an important factor in the world economy because of its enormous growth rate, unique entrepreneurial and venture capitalist community, and highly innovative companies.
Because the list is the first of its kind in Asia, Red Herring knows the success of the project will depend on its ability to reach local companies. For more than a decade, Red Herring has developed broad connections with leading technology companies and venture capital firms in countries such as China, India, Japan, Korea, leaving the magazine well positioned to produce such a survey. We invite all interested parties to participate in this research-intensive project and we also ask that you urge your business associates and colleagues to participate.
Red Herring will select the most promising private technology companies in Asia and publish the results in mid-2005.
