The Duff & Phelps Legal Business Solutions group – a pioneer in legal technology industry, wanted to create a Legal Business Intelligence™ solution to help Corporate Legal Departments reduce outside counsel spend.
The solution needed to provide benchmarks, metrics and analysis for decision support – which would necessitated the creation of OLAP Cubes.
The business model required the solution to be built on a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

Guided Intelligence – the Web-based Business Intelligence Reporting and Analysis SOA platform was leveraged to create the Legal Business Intelligence™ solution
The solution incorporated OLAP cubes designed to analyze large volumes of legal spend data using Duff & Phelps’ proprietary Legal Data Analytics Views™ which would help:
